Carol wanted to be a graphic designer even before she knew what the job was called. She brings over 30 years of enthusiasm as a creative director and designer to Red Herring, producing award-winning work for a diverse roster of clients. Prior to founding Red Herring, Carol was employed by Atlantic Records as the art director responsible for Elektra Records packaging, merchandising and advertising. The experience of working in a fast-paced environment with a wide range of artists made her a decisive, resourceful designer and producer. She was also with the renowned design firm Pushpin Lubalin Peckolick and The Design Center of The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, where she earned her BFA. Red Herring’s work has received numerous design awards and has been nominated three times by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences for a Grammy Award for Best Package Design.
