Responsibility for the formation of forests, forestry, wood purchasing, harvest, Financial-commercial assessment, scope definition.
• Since September 2006 studies are carried out with different varieties of eucalyptus for biomass production, with technical research in spacing, fertilizer and management has been implemented now, but already with satisfactory results in terms of production and quality of wood. Now are being used 12 new clones of eucalyptus developed in partnership with large nurseries and technical monitoring from consultants and professors of research institutes in the country, including IPEF, SIF and Embrapa. This variety is necessary because of the different characteristics of soil and climate found in the different states in Brazil.
• Implementing, coordinating and managing forestry action and handling, Provision / supplies, wood commercialization, leasing and forest fomentation, adapting processes and promoting restructuring when necessary.
• Control of social and educational actions, environmental management and corporate policies.
• Development of the company and team in negotiations, critical environments, interface with boards of directors, structural changes and decision taking.
• Market analysis regarding selling and purchasing prices of forestry raw material. • Management of partners and lasting commercial relations with clients, suppliers and forestry partners, prospecting new channels, staying up-to-date with new forms of acting on the market.
• In this period the control system for forestry supplies was implemented, reducing the transport costs with 10% and the harvest costs with 20% due to new negotiation techniques with the service rendering enterprises.
• Responsible for more than 165 wood consuming units, with a foreseen 150.000 ha of eucalyptus forests.
