Responsibilities: Overall leader of what was the largest and most successful channel development agency in Europe. P/L responsibility, managing of executive team. Developed pioneering methodologies in the industry, including Partner Relationship Management (a set of processes and systems to manage indirect selling relationships), sales ecosystems (programmatic teams of discrete organizations partnering in a structured manner to increase sales efficiency and effectiveness). Developed financial models for new initiatives on a project basis, with multi-million dollar budgets, led the financial evaluation and costing analysis prior to opening a new country office or subsidiaries. Developed the Outsourced Field Sales concept for Sun Microsystems, Nortel Networks and others. Managed target budgets of £20M GBP, from midmarket activity in the UK and Ireland. Delivered training executive workshops for USA and European businesses CEOs to improve international trade through distribution, agent and dealer channels.
As Head of Consulting, I have been project managing complex projects involving dozens of people for IBM over ten years. The projects had a budget of $15M Dollars over this period. Achievements:
Notably pioneering the IBM Valuenet ecosystem initiative which expanded globally, and achieved IBM “Best Practice” endorsement, managing a project budget of $350 Million USD worldwide, with additional soft targets and objectives. Won numerous client relationships with Oracle, IBM, BT, Telefonica, Telenor, Inmarsat, France Telecom, O2, Vodafone, Sun Microsystems, Silicon Graphics, HP, and more. Grew the company to 100 employees. Exited the company successfully.
