I collaborated closely with the director and production team during pre-production planning and traveled to 14 countries to conduct insightful interviews. My expertise in visual storytelling enabled me to capture high-quality footage that not only conveyed the emotions and viewpoints of our interviewees effectively but also immersed the audience in the rich tapestry of global experiences. The film's exceptional storytelling and cinematography resonated with audiences, resulting in it being showcased at dozens of film festivals, winning multiple awards, and securing distribution on Netflix. Additionally, "The Listening Project" enjoyed a successful educational screening run at colleges and universities, furthering its mission of fostering understanding, empathy, and shared humanity across the globe. This experience allowed me to refine my filmmaking skills and contribute to an impactful project that resonated with viewers worldwide, shining a light on the importance of open dialogue and empathy in international relations.
