Dec. 2010 - Sep. 2011Bogotá, ColombiaAs a Key Account Engineer for Metal Working and HPI from December 2010 to September 2011, I was responsible for a wide range of tasks and was able to achieve several notable results. My job functions included having a comprehensive understanding of the processes in various industries and segments, being aware of the global segment situation, knowledge of applications in each segment, familiarity with SKF solutions and implementations in each segment, and an understanding of the customer value chain. I was also responsible for consolidating information such as the mapping of equipment in different plants, installed capacities, growth potential, and key contacts and decision makers. I was tasked with detecting and developing business opportunities, successfully closing sales opportunities to meet the business plan, and coordinating SKF resources to enhance sales success. Additionally, I was responsible for selling PDM services through the authorized CMP distributor and products and services through the documented solutions program (DSP). I also developed the Customer Needs Analysis (CNA) for various customers and was aware of the global structure and drivers of each customer. I coordinated engineering services and training programs for all customers and segments and organized presentations to educate customers on correct engineering practices. My achievements during my time as a Key Account Engineer include the full attainment of the forecasted business plan, successful renegotiations with Cabot, Abocol, Diaco Muña Plant, and Ecopetrol, over 2.5 million USD in sales from archived service and product contracts, and a successful negotiation of a product supply contract worth over 1 million USD.
