ESW offers brands and retailers a portfolio of SaaS technology and logistics services that support DTC brands selling internationally. Dan stepped in as acting CMO for a global company with more than 1,200 employees and a stagnant pipeline. He reinvigorated a stalled re-brand effort while creating 20% savings across operations and the martech stack. He unified global public relations, market research, multilingual creative content, and ABM campaign engines, making marketing the most impactful growth channel in the company. Under his leadership, Scalefast's marketing team seamlessly integrated into the combined ESW organization, making the company competitive in a market dominated by public companies enjoying ten times the budget. Dan and his thought leadership, resource planning, and expanding communications organization (from three to 13 in year one, reaching 20 in year two) have greatly enhanced brand awareness among target audiences and personas by building a multimedia content plan that is precisely targeted to high-intent, highly-qualified B2B decision-makers under an adapted ABM framework. After the first year, Dan and his team increased MQL volume by 10x while reducing the cost per lead by 2/3. He has also mechanized custom content throughput by building and enabling internal and external creative teams to deliver an editorial calendar focused on defined ICPs and products. Scalefast's marketing team delivered more than 380 unique written and video content across earned, paid, and owned channels in one year. This high-performing content machine has provided a foundation of buyer and sales enablement signals to inform and promote lead acquisition and deal velocity.
