Recent contracts at VA involve PMO support, clinical terminology, modeling, clinical business analysis, requirements management, enterprise architecture, inter-agency collaboration, revenue cycle and finance support, and Standards Development Organization (SDO) liaison efforts. BZ personnel played a key role in the establishment of both the VHA Health Information Model (VHIM) and Federal Health Information Model (FHIM) projects, and are actively engaged in various inter-agency initiatives including the Federal Health Architecture (FHA), and the ONC Standards and Interoperability Framework. Define strategy and architecture as it relates to representation of patient-specific clinical data and knowledge within health information systems and with technical methodologies used to process data for patient care, quality assurance and secondary uses. Clinical Decision Support (CDS):
Provide subject matter expertise on CDS to internal and external collaborators, and support design and implementation of current and future CDS strategy by identifying and exploring CDS capabilities needed to optimally support patient care. Terminology:
