Specifically the aim is to research on the impact of light based technologies on the quality of life in developed and developing countries and to raise people appreciation and awareness on behaviours in the use of resources. This research is further implemented as a sustainability strategy in the Cambridge light art festival, through a creative communication work based on evidence, visuals and interaction with the users. As end product of the theoretical research, an installation for the festival will be designed. The installation called "e-nlightening" will be exhibited in the main hub of the festival in Cambridge in February 2015.
