May. 2024~ Rail Europe is an independent and private equity-owned global travel tech company ~ • Contract Management: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiation of various contracts, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Data Protection Agreements (DPAs), Distribution Agreements with OTAs and carriers, API licensing agreements, and partnership agreements with stakeholders (agencies, influencers, IT, marketing, and all types of service provision contracts). Additionally, acting as the company’s main contact for negotiating contracts with our clients, including travel agents and tech facilitators. • Intellectual property management: Overseeing matters related to intellectual property, including trademarks and copyrights. Drafting and managing copyright licenses and advising on the protection and use of company IP. • Compliance: Building processes and guidelines. Conducting assessments and due diligence to verify that third-party providers meet contractual obligations and global privacy standards (RGPD, CCPA, PIPL, DPDPA). • Pre-litigation management: Handling pre-litigation cases with customers and end consumers, ensuring the effective resolution of potential disputes. • Training and knowledge sharing: Conducting training sessions for team members on legal topics such as contract management, data protection, intellectual property, artificial intelligence, and compliance issues to ensure awareness and understanding of legal obligations. • Operational support and risk management: Providing support to operational teams and resolving any issues that may arise, ensuring smooth and efficient operations across the company. Working closely with business teams (such as Product, PR, Customer Support) to identify and address relevant legal risks. • Support on ESG and insurance Issues: Providing assistance on matters related to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) compliance as well as insurance issues.
