Team Lead for support of the base-wide LAN/WAN/MAN consisting of over 40 Novell 3.x and 4.1 IntraNetWare servers, as well as 32 Windows NT servers with over 3,000 users connected via copper and fiber optic 10/100MB Ethernet, FDDI and multi-protocol topologies. Also lead team for End-user/desktop management, cc:Mail 6.3, DHCP/IP Delivery. • Develop and maintain five Windows NT single master domains for use in web development, Citrix, project development, software applications/distribution, and file storage. Includes support and testing for Capacity Planning, Security, Oracle, Sybase, SQL, Visual Basic, Perl, ASP, CGI, and other Internet Languages.
• Responsible for the security, support, implementation, and standardization of employee intraweb and large number of public government web sites hosted on Windows NT servers and Sun Solaris servers in a DMZ firewall configuration.
• Write and edit departmental web pages for Federal Aviation Administration ACX-10 Information Technology Support Services
• Control security access for web authors, ftp clients, and other users on the Windows and UNIX servers.
• Administer IIS and Apache servers for use in the public domain. Responsibilities include security patches, backups, hardware support, FrontPage Extensions.
• Administrator Lucent QIP DNS Management software. Includes management and distribution of IP addresses and DNS entries.
• Responsible for direct PC technical support for designated segment of LAN consisting of 400+ users. Novell client installation and configuration, cc:Mail, and all MS desktop operating systems including Windows 3.x, 95, 98, NT3.x, 4.0, and Me.
