Created both local/strategic purchase orders to support the project while sourcing the materials/equipment at the lowest cost for the organisation. Tracked, expedited, and reported the progress of the project’s critical path items. Prepared regular summary and detail budget updates. Ensure compliance with company policy regarding vendors, receipts, payments, etc. Established new vendors and maintain supplier relationships (American Block, Aker Solutions, Oilstates, Marine & Industrial Supply, and National Oilwell Varco) through effective negotiation and relationship building. Ensured that materials and equipment are prepared safely and shipped accordingly with Transocean policies and procedures. Worked with clients such as Husky Energy and Saudi Aramco during the project execution and planning. - Created over 600 service and material purchase orders (PO) within six months, resulting in schedule and budget adherence for two projects in the Gulf Coast region. - Worked closely with accounts payable on PO accuracy and PO change control to ensure timely payment to the organisations vendors.
- Budgeted and forecasted future transportation spending for several Oil Rig upgrades and repair projects.
- Coordinated the transportation of material within the United States, Canada, and the United Arab Emirates. Transportation was conducted via consolidated air freight, urgent air freight, and surface freight (Truck and Ship). Movements coordinated through 3PL agencies such as CEVA Logistics and PF Collins.
- Tracked several critical path items and received them in a timely manner which allowed for the completion of the project on time while serving in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
- Managed and supervised various trans-shipment points points in support of shipyard/port operations overseas and within the United States.
