Jan. 2009 - Jul. 2011Morgantown➢ Thesis “Understand diesel PM morphology on health effects”. ➢ Characterized diesel PM particle morphology and fractal dimension using advanced image processing techniques such as SEM and TEM. Characterized gaseous emissions from heavy duty diesel engine during idle operation. Conducted chassis dynamometer emissions testing in accordance with CFR Title 40, Part 1065 for Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) on FTP, NRTC, WMATA and OCTA test cycles to measure the exhaust constituents from clean diesel, bio-diesel, hybrid and CNG buses.
