aspects of the business area(HR, Payroll, Recruitment, Reward and L&OD – 3 products/systems)
● Delivered over 140 Epics(including new features, business initiatives, small change and large projects)
● Designing, building and delivering product roadmaps, reporting on status to senior management and
making sure that projects are delivered on time through agile iteration cycles
● Managing and developing product backlog, and user stories for implementation with input from
stakeholders, the Development Team and other team members. Prioritise the backlog based on value,
time and other team dependencies.
● Translating requirements into clear user stories capturing product features, pain points, technical
requirements and acceptance criteria to explain what is required and why clearly.
● Co-ordinating and motivating cross-functional teams and development teams to ensure timely delivery
of user stories.
● Identifying, developing and implementing improvements in the product area to offer new and improved
ways of working that contributes to business effectiveness/efficiency by automating processes and
improving access to information.
● Identifying and contributing to the strategic planning of further product investment and enhancements,
working with stakeholders to determine the best solutions for the business.
● Ensuring the product is designed correctly to hold the correct data, data integrity is maintained through
liaison with data owners, producing meaningful and accurate management information on a timely basis
which can be used to inform and influence decision making, and embed continuous improvement
through data and analytics.
● Developing strong relationships and collaborative working with internal and external stakeholders to
support and assist in system delivery. In particular, the relationship with the system providers must be
managed to support the ongoing development of the system so that business needs are met.
● Working with L&D to ensure training is available to enhance knowledge, and expertise and users are more
self-sufficient in all products
● Maintaining an understanding of the product area market sector by reviewing new products and
processes that may enhance the current products
