In this transition phase of the operation I was asked to assume the position of CEO during the restructuring of the organisations to help align them for the listing process. During this period we focused the subsidiary companies on sales and pushing as hard as possible to get the subscriber numbers up. With the new change in focus away from simply selling CPE devices and focusing on selling a full networking/IT solution to the customers we have driven the number of subscribers up significantly. During this phase I managed the restructuring of the organisation to fit with the listing requirements.

Within four months of funding being released, the Ghanaian launch took place successfully in March 2008. In order to ensure iBurst Africa traded effectively, the following was achieved: - Oversaw the management of network roll-outs in each country. The Ghana network has achieved targeted uptime since launch. - Designed and created a pre-paid billing system (the iBurst Management System), which integrates into the Accounting System, Pastel Evolution, and into IAS (Radius), the access controller. This provides a web front-end to all staff, allowing staff to invoice and sell modems from their laptops wherever they might be. Once the modem is invoiced and paid for, it is immediately activated. - Selected the local technical teams that run the day to day operations of the networks. - Architected the reseller programs namely the Super dealer and reseller channels to allow for broad distribution of modems, connect & go! vouchers, and virtual vouchers to the market. - Within the first year of running, met the objective of signing up 5000 new customers in Ghana. - Managed the product development process resulting in the launch of several new product lines into the existing business model. - Managed the rollout of world first 2Mbps modem into all the networks. - Managed the implementation of online sales, network and customer service tracking tools.
