Jan. 2022 - Feb. 2024As the GI and Rheumatology Program Manager, I assisted the Division Directors, Fellowship Directors, Division Administrators and faculty as needed. I was the first point of contact for the office and assumed responsibility for any and all day to day operations. I served as the lead administrative support for two divisions of Internal Medicine and wasthe primary point of contact for those divisions. I assisted the Division Director in planning meetings, keeping the calendar up to date, preparing department letters, documents, lectures slides etc., preparing documentation for the annual faculty review process; assisted division faculty at UAMS and CAVHS in coordinating meetings. I created and updated the monthly on-call schedule for the Divisions' clinical faculty, fellows, and rotating students on the consult service at both UAMS and CAVHS. I distributed the schedule to both UAMS and CAVHS on-call managers, and input the schedule into the UAMS On Call system. I was responsible for placing clinic blocks and updating the calendar and call schedule. I assisted the Division Director in recruiting efforts for new faculty members within the division, arranged interviews, and prepared detailed itineraries for recruits. I was responsible for the divisions' procurement and travel; ordering items such as office supplies, maintenance requests etc., as well as, request reimbursements in WorkDay. Along with these reposibilties, I continued to also complete the Fellowship Coordinator responsibilties (I was both the Program and Fellowship Manager, simutaneously).
