I made several key contributions including:
• Drove digital revenue by sourcing and implementing modern, online
marketing solutions, outside of traditional print media, for area business,
while working with Corporate to implement and train reps on company-wide
online advertising standards while initiating and directing the creation of
The Augusta Chronicle's digital-first advertising initiative.
• Led the research and development of a special edition sales strategy and
presentation; contributed $1.3M in revenue from Augusta Daily Deals alone in
14 months.
• Trained a 50+ member sales team and steered efforts in the field from a traditional, print-centric advertising mindest, to a best-in-class, digital-first team and company.
resulting in over 185 premium ads sold and surpassing revenue project goals
by 220%.
• Championed The Augusta Chronicle's sales effort for the largest, highest-
revenue producing, and most prestigious print edition in The Augusta
Chronicle's history.
• Prospected local businesses resulting in new client relationships with
over 650 area businesses in the deal category alone.
• Recognized as The Augusta Chronicle's "Employee of the Month" in January
2011, for "outstanding leadership, dedication, commitment and innovative
ideas making Augusta Daily Deals number one."
• Successfully maintained status as #1 Daily Deals revenue champion out of
14 markets 15 months in a row, independently producing 35% of combined
corporate-wide revenue through the Augusta market.
• Single-handedly generated, worked, and managed leads lists of over 4000
prospects from cold-call stage to close stage.
