Nov. 2008 - Aug. 2012Silver Spring, MDRan National Institute of Drug Abuse-funded project that created and launched a web portal (www.idatresearch.com) for international drug, alcohol, and tobacco researchers to use to collaborate with each other. Took project over after it had been poorly managed and turned a poor client rating into an excellent client rating at the end of the project. Conducted extensive Internet and database research to create and write for Web portal. Oversaw advisory panel, programmers, subcontractors, graphic artists, editors and QA specialist. Managed two 1 million dollar project budgets. Wrote quarterly reports, annual reports and final reports. Singlehandedly created, launched and acted as the Managing Editor of the online journal the Journal of International Drug, Alcohol, and Tobacco Research. Performed extensive research to inform the development of over 50 products that populate a website that provides interactive psychoeduction for children of military members (www.militarykidsconnect.org) in the form of videos, webisodes, online games, and online activities. Helped write kid-friendly content for the videos, webisodes, online games, and online activities on the www.militarykidsconnect.org website. Researched and wrote a report that detailed how teens use social media. Contributed to multiple successful business development proposals.
