Oct. 2016 - Feb. 2020Managed the end-to-end project lifecycle for the design, requirement gathering, and deployment of a national electronic Health Workforce Registry, utilizing both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Successfully expanded the registry's coverage to 11 states. Key responsibilities were:
* Developed comprehensive documentation, including policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), operational guidelines, training manuals, and a Disaster Recovery Plan, to support the operationalization and decentralization of the Health Workforce Registry.
* Supported the finalization of the Nigerian National Health Workforce Registry by collaborating with key stakeholders and ensuring alignment with national health objectives.
* Led capacity-building initiatives for national and state stakeholders, particularly HRH and designated officers, by providing targeted training on the application of SOPs, user manuals, and operational guidelines.
* Facilitated the decentralization of the Health Workforce Registry to state levels, with a focus on North-East states, to enhance data accessibility and management at sub-national levels.
* Collaborated with national and state HRH stakeholders to implement the decentralization strategy in 11 states—Abia, Adamawa, Anambra, Bauchi, Borno, Cross River, Edo, Niger, Osun, Yobe, and Sokoto—ensuring the integration of state-level health workforce data into the national registry.
