Sep. 2014 - Dec. 2015Willimatic, CT• EASTCONN is the Regional Educational Service Center for northeastern Connecticut, a Non-Profit organization servicing 33 in Northeastern Connecticut. Reporting directly to the Director of Adult Programs & Community Education, is responsible for the primary administration of a regional continuing education program, offering educational, employment, and enrichment programs for residents. • Reviews and devises new programs in the region per customer needs/desires and coordinates with local municipalities in hosting said programs in schools and community centers. • Interviews and hires new instructors for programs. • Management of all registrations for customers, including processing and tracking payments, maintaining customer database, and verifying customer registrations. • As Coordinator for the Capitol Theater Arts Academy (CTAA), is responsible for the administration of an after school artistic enrichment program for students ages 3 – 18. Programs include dance, acting, music, and production, as well as other artistic disciplines.
• In the course of this position, was tasked with reducing CTAA expenses and increase revenues in order to keep the program viable. Was successful not only with revising the budget, but via a successful marketing and promotion campaign, increased registrations for the 2015 season by more than 40%. The program is still in existence today. • Working in conjunction with EASTCONN’s Marketing and Communications department, performed all media marketing for Community Ed and CTAA, including bi annual print and online catalogs, promotional mailings, social media campaigns, radio and television promotion, as well as website management.
