Tracy Allan has been involved with film and television production for 35 years. Beginning in 1983 as an Art Director, his panache for subtlety in advertising was a perfect fit for the television commercial world. He began directing in 1986, quickly building his directorial reel with spec spots that sold to clients in the United States and Europe. His knowledge in photographic techniques helped spawn relationships with manufacturers and ad agencies hungry for a ‘new look’. Clients such as Tyco, Tonka, Porsche, Visa, Seat, Repsol, The Afya Foundation of America, Fortuna Racing, Ford, Telecel, Hope Boykin Dance, Suzuki, Coca-Cola, GMC, Greg Rice Foundation, Dominican Republic, and many more took full advantage of his ability to merge great art (color correction techniques, colorization, vignette, bleach bypass, etc.) with stylized storytelling and editing. While fostering a career in motion pictures, Tracy continued to shoot still photography. In his early years, Tracy worked for numerous organizations, shooting docu-style imagery for stock photography companies and magazines. His work in South Africa garnered several published works, documenting the strife in Cape Town during the abolition of apartheid. Tracy began working with ad agencies, brands, and clients in the early 1990s to expand his motion imagery as a commercial director. Gaining a foothold as a messaging specialist, Tracy helped brands such as Suzuki overcome marketing challenges through visual media. While expanding his position as a commercial director, Tracy continued to thrive in an ever-changing environment embracing new technology such as digital video & photography. In 2008, Tracy co-launched The Afya Foundation, helping Afya collect medical supplies from hospitals & other facilities then sending the supplies to health centers abroad. Afya has sent millions of pounds of much-needed supplies to 80 countries worldwide, touching the lives of countless people in need. In 2019, Tracy was hired by GPost, an Australian company, to roll out the c
