I am currently Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Performance Officer (CPO) as USG Education Group, one of Indonesia’s largest in international education provider with four pillars of businesses: international pathway provider, a leading English course called TBI, a local business school, and a startup incubator. I hold a Ph.D. in Southeast Asian Political Economics from St. Antony's College, University of Oxford, and is an Eisenhower Fellow (2015). I co-founded Bukalapak — one of Indonesia's four unicorns, valued at over USD 3 billion at its 2022 IDX IPO — and launched Bloomberg TV Indonesia, the first Bloomberg channel in the world to broadcast in a local language, a model subsequently replicated across eight countries. Before starting my own group, I spent 12 years as business and communication advisor at Edelman Indonesia, from Junior Consultant up to Managing Director when i left in 2011. Throughout my career i have advised Indonesian government ministries, the Office of the Vice President, and the Supreme Court on public affairs and policy. He founded IDEA Group Indonesia, one of the country's first startup incubators, before joining USGE as CFO and Chief Performance Officer to lead the Group's financial transformation and IPO preparation.
