Mr. Copti has over 27 years of extensive experience in heavy equipment and spare parts. During his last 10-year tenure as Deputy GM / CEO of leading regional agent for the Hyundai brand heavy machinery and equipment, Modern Construction Machinery Establishment (MCME), a second-generation family run business, Mr. Copti was responsible for the introduction of Hyundai CE & Forklifts and other leading brands into the market. During that period Mr. Copti managed 6 departments with 50+ members of staff and was responsible for the overarching management and direction of the company, whereby along with his team, he successfully achieved increasing market share of 25% forklifts and 15% for construction equipment, and higher sales and profits year on year. Between 2002 and 2011, Mr. Copti established and oversaw the company’s subsidiary in Khartoum, Sudan. His vast experience in management, his interpersonal skills, resilience, and ability to adapt, lead and explore new opportunities allowed him to operate within diverse and volatile markets with stellar results, successfully managing customers, employees, and suppliers while earning the company a leading position in the Sudanese market with 50% market share in the concrete pumps business. Mr. Copti began his career working across several departments of MCME, including the Parts Department, the Product Support Department and the Service Department, allowing him to develop and hone his skills in several key areas including Product Support; Service Development; Marketing Development; Sales Development; Strategic Pricing and Value Creation; Warehousing and Logistics; and Multi-Operation Integration Mr. Copti holds a Bachelor of Science in Business administration (International Business & Economics) from the UNIVERSITY OF KANSAS – LAWRENCE KANSAS IN THE USA.
