Primary mission is to assist on-board representative (Co Man) in all HSE related aspects on the rig. This includes, but is not limited to the following points. Witness critical operations, such as: BHA make up, BOP N/U, N/D, Heavy lifts, Casing running operations. Procedures review: Liaise with Rig Contractor and Co Man to review essential Risk Analysis, Job Safety Analysis, review PTW's (Permit to Work). HSE training (Handling and Lifting, pinch points), Drop Object campaign, Hygiene inspections,QC Inspection of lifting gear (slings, cranes, shackles and bolts, safety pins etc.). Participate to pre-job/toolbox meetings randomly, Rig weekly HSE report, Spill reports: oil and chemical spill reporting as per company/regulatory bodies procedures. Incident / Near Miss reports as per company procedure, daily contact with HSE manager, Stop cards tracking: ensure adequate corrective actions are undertaken for most significant stop cards, Witness safety drills and check for compliance with company Contingency Plan. Reporting and investigation of Accidents, Damages, Environmental Loss and Near Miss. Produce reports to management covering all HSE issues.
