Jan. 1999 - Apr. 2013· Provide leadership, support, consultative and staff development experiences for the Student Services department and faculty of Apex High
· Support efforts to implement and integrate technology-based solutions throughout Wake County · Support administrators and school staff in establishing and operationalizing policies, procedures and programs designed to improve student achievement and success
· Manage graduation plans and monitor student progress toward meeting graduation requirements and achieving postsecondary goals, including career assessment, postsecondary school research, scholarship and financial aid searches and programs. · Support and participate in Apex High School’s application for RAMP (Recognized ASCA Model Program)
· Create and implement stakeholder surveys for use in National Model application, and distribute results among participants in application
· Serve on AOIT Executive Board representing Apex High School
· Create and manage the Junior Planning Guide for Wake County Schools
· Serve on Promotion Committee for Greater Raleigh National College Fair
· Co-Chair WCPSS Counseling Technology Professional Learning Community
· Provide leadership, support and training for the School Assistant Module (SAM) and Student/Parent Access Network (SPAN) at Apex High and on-call for several other schools, including Cary High and Mills Park Middle
· Provide information to all stakeholders related to changes in graduation requirements, postsecondary options and high school success
· Create a Virtual AP Fair that allows students, parents and community members access to information on Advanced Placement courses at all times
· Coordinate Apex High registration for 2500+ students
· Create and annually update Wake County’s Junior Planning Guide
· Coordinate graduation for Apex High, including all aspects of preparation for and logistics of carrying out the ceremony
