Jul. 2015 - Nov. 2021My role with Azusa Pacific University Information & Media Technology serving as the Executive Director of Information Services is rich and complex. My teams form a unit within Information & Media Technology that serves business customers, operational staff, faculty, and students from a business technology perspective. While the make-up of this unit is unusual, we serve the University by acting as the business interface to technology resources. The teams that form the Information Services unit under my direction are: Project & Portfolio Management - A PMO with a slightly different calling and purpose. The IMT Project & Portfolio Management team not only directly manages large enterprise projects, but also provides project management tools, templates, practices, and training to anyone at Azusa Pacific University who is either in a project management role or has been assigned to such a role. IMT Business Intelligence - Azusa Pacific University’s first and only Business Intelligence department focused on serving the data driven needs of the University and empowering our teams to make sound data driven decisions. IMT Security Office - The center for the information technology security culture on campus. This area focuses on building a strong security culture among the entire population at Azusa Pacific University. This includes but is not limited to legal holds, ESI collection, complex searches as provided by counsel, and expert witness testimony. IMT Training Office - Focused on empowering all technology users to use and explore technology tools as effectively as possible, this shop is also leading Azusa Pacific University in the area of knowledge management.
