May. 2002 - Dec. 2004Athens, GreeceMain responsibilities included: • Customizing and executing marketing strategies crafted at the company’s headquarters in the US to fit the MEA regions, CEE, and Turkish markets while working near the teams in their respective markets • Continuous analysis of the OTC market performance to define consumer habits concerning company products, new sales trends, and competition activities across the region. This served as a very useful tool in maximizing the efficiency of the different teams in the region. • Data collection made in the field according to a well-planned program including questionnaires, conferences, lectures, and meetings with MOH officials as well as from the IMS and other external resources (US Congress Library, scientific publishing… etc.). • Managing a transition phase of empowering the teams in the ME regions, this included: - Assigning Junior Product Managers in the Gulf region, KSA, Lebanon, and Jordan the execution of the marketing plan provided to minimize costs and improve efficiency. - Transfer of all SOPs from the company Head Office in Greece to the management of the different countries. - Training of Junior Product Managers.
