In this time, I was given weekly assignments, ranging from NHL center evaluations and rankings, college free agent goaltender evaluations and rankings, and on-ice coaching at rookie development camp. I watched game film on skaters and goaltenders, evaluated and ranked them, made player comparisons, and presented my results to the entire front office staff. I shadowed different coaches and staff members each day during rookie development camp and joined them on the ice, in meetings, and more.

These camps hosted players of various skill levels and ages, and helped me a ton in my development as a leader. I acted as both a head and assistant coach, depending on the week, and worked behind the scenes on the camp curriculum each week as well. I was constantly being challenged on and off the ice and learned a ton about how to coach and develop the next generation of hockey players.
