My duties included hiring candidates, teaching theory and training practical skills, setting and administering tests, placing interns with on-site customers, and recommending interns for permanent employment upon successful completion of the program. The Sintrex internship program hires paid interns for a one-year learning contract with the goal of offering them employment upon successful completion. The internship consists of two quarters of theory and technical training, followed by two quarters of practical work experience on-site with customers. Interns were required to pass theoretical assessments for each topic or module, culminating in a full-day final exam that combined all accumulated knowledge.
