I’m driven by a singular purpose: to create practicable, evidence-based knowledge that strengthens innovation systems and policy frameworks. With over 15 years of experience in science, technology, and innovation management, I’ve led strategic initiatives that span policy analysis, STI measurement, R&D coordination, and institutional performance. My work has supported national development agendas, facilitated capacity-building across federal agencies, and translated complex ideas into actionable tools for decision-makers. As a PhD researcher at the University of Ljubljana, School of Economics and Business, I explore how Digital Financial Services (DFS) shape entrepreneurial behavior and innovation among informal microenterprises in emerging economies. My research focuses on financial effectuation and bricolage—uncovering how grassroots entrepreneurs creatively mobilize resources and adapt within evolving digital ecosystems.
