C/Can is a global organization that empowers cities to deliver quality, affordable cancer care for all. The C/Can model identifies cities that have both high need and high potential for improved cancer care and selects local leaders to drive the process from the ground up. A multi-sector executive committee in each city prioritizes specific needs, locates partners for capacity building, establishes sustainable financing models and monitors and shares results with other cities around the world. The locally-led city activities are supported by a global team in Geneva, Switzerland. As City Manager I support the projetc implementation by providing on-site support to key city stakeholders participating in the initiative, coordinating the group communication and project development /implementation.
