The HAM Hub specialises in providing artists, musicians and engineers with a top tier professional space to pursue creative endeavours in audio. The HAM Hub operated until 2019 and at this point has ceased taking clients. I served a multi-purpose role at The HAM Hub as a Co-Owner. My day to day dealt with both the Business/Admin aspects of running a recording studio and the studio based role as recording/mixing/mastering engineer and technician. On the end of running a business my roles included Business Manager, Social Media Marketing Manager, Administrative roles and consulting with clientele. As a studio engineer/technician I served artists by assisting with pre-production/planning, setting up the session for tracking, operating the recording equipment and carrying out the correct microphone placement, editing the audio and treating it where needed, mixing and balancing using a combination of hardware and software based tools and mastering the finished product. Every project was different, for some projects I did all of the above mentioned tasks and more while on others I was asked to perform a specific role. I love being involved in the creative process artist have and I consider it a real privilege to do what I do.
