During my 20+ career in various roles & industries I’ve had to learn how to manage people, scenario’s, by reading and understanding the environment and the people inside that environment. My management styles range between Lenient, fair & strict when necessary, during my management career I’ve managed, childcare settings, sports clubs, activity clubs, Activity leader’s, playworkers, venue supervisors. My leadership skill within the workplace enables potential leaders to make their own steps towards the leaders that they want to be while I’ll act as an auto corrector and offer advice to help the staff improve. I also have a keen eye for observation as I read everything through an educational lens so that I can improve as a manager and see the problem through the customers viewpoint. My current job was very clear to me when I was interviewed as I was interviewed by both area manager and the HR department and the role was achieving these goals: • Increase annual net profit every year. • Either clear out the team or raise the standards. • Retrain the team within two years to an acceptable standard. • Improve clients & customers relationships with the Schoolsplus head office and onsite teams. • Regain the schools trust with running things. • Improve onsite operations & retrain when necessary. • Communicate with area manager any complex issues that cannot be solved at the site level. • Improve performance level with the venue supervisors • Handle administrative jobs for customers & head office. • Handle any crisis scenario’s that happen from time to time. Once the objectives were completed the goal was to maintain it and slowly improve sales figures and build a succession line of potential to help run the place. My other working career I’ve managed childcare wraparound provisions within primary schools, secondary schools, academies &SEN schools and I’ve also been in charge of multiple coaching sessions in adventure playgrounds, sports centres, holiday camps, sports clubs, schools and residential camps.
