• Maintaining appropriate compliance arrangements to manage regulatory risks arising; • Evaluate and provide guidance to the Board of London Steam-Ship Owners’ Mutual Insurance Association (Europe) Limited (“LSSO”) on the impact of regulatory publications and potential risks arising; • Supporting the Head of Risk & Compliance of LSSO London on regulatory projects related to the UK (e.g. Digital Operational Resilience) and on requirements set out by PRA, FCA and other UK regulators/authorities; • Ensure that compliance systems and processes are robust, practical, compliant and operated and understood; • Perform Compliance reviews for both LSSO Europe and LSSO London according to the Annual Compliance Monitoring Plan; • Evaluate new or changing insurance legislation principally in Europe, UK, Cyprus and in other jurisdictions in which the LSSO operates and communicate issues arising and recommendations for change; • Ensure all regulatory notifications are completed on time; • Appointed Data Protection Officer and principle point of contact for all data protection enquiries; • Lead the identification and assessment of regulatory risks and recommending mitigating actions to the LSSO Board; • Support to Chief Executive Officer in implementing an effective risk management system within LSSO Europe; • Implement any changes required to the risk management framework; • Develop a culture of awareness of legal, regulatory and compliance requirements and ensure that all staff are suitably trained.
