Studies show that children who participated in an EQ-programme have more success in social & emotional situations throughout life. A child’s IQ only contributes to his or her success in life with about only 21%, the rest depends on the child’s emotional intelligence. Therefore it is of the highest importance for parents to not only concentrate on the intellectual intelligence of their child but also ensure that their child’s emotional intelligence is developed to the maximum. EQ4kids makes use of games and fun activities to create and develop emotional intelligence in children. This program teaches children to : • Identify • Understand • Evaluate • Express • Regulate Appropriate curriculums for ages 3 – 6 years is offered. These 30 minute sessions are held at schools/day care/after care centers once a week. During these sessions, the children are handed items with guidelines for parents how to encourage these skills. The EQ4kids programme teaches children life skills and how to develop these life skills.
