Student Service Design ChallengeService Designer
Dec. 2024 - Jun. 2025Awarded Silver for GoBro, a lifestyle-integrated wellbeing service for men to improve mental health through physical activity, repositioning Philips from a traditional health-tech provider to a holistic wellbeing leader. My team worked on the Philips brief, which focuses on expanding self-confidence through self care. Our goal was to design an inclusive and sustainable service that integrates self-care into daily life, fostering emotional resilience, connection, and well-being. In my role as the contact person, I facilitate team coordination, ensuring smooth communication and alignment with project goals. Led co-design workshops and user research to understand barriers around vulnerability and emotional openness among men, extracting behavioural insights to inform the service design. Developed a community-driven ecosystem by integrating existing platforms (e.g., Strava) and created a brand manifesto, journey maps, service blueprint, and go-to-market strategy aligning physical health with emotional wellbeing. Collaborated in a cross-functional international team, iterating the design based on feedback from stakeholders in health, design, and tech sectors. My responsibilities also included managing stakeholder engagement, maintaining project timelines, and ensuring that our design adheres to Philips core principles of empowerment, inclusivity and sustainability. Key skills I brought to this challenge: Service Design Thinking Research and analysis Prototyping Collaboration and Facilitation Communication Project management
