Nov. 2010 - Dec. 2012Assisted in creating, developing, designing and implementing Special Fund Raising Events, which increases campaign dollars; Special Events, which increases volunteer involvement and participation; and Annual Events for corporate meetings. Establishes, builds and maintains relationships with key volunteers and agency representatives. Special Events include: Annual auction on eBay, United Way's Annual Meeting, GuitarMania 2012, RideUNITED, Pro-AM Golf Tournament, Campaign Kick-Off & Pancake Flip, Celebrity Golf Tournament, Hometown Huddle, collaboration with Young Leaders Fall Ball and partnerships/promotional ticket events with Bridgestone Invitational, Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Browns and Lake Erie Monsters. Worked with developing strategies and tactics to meet the marketing plan. Establishes goals, sets priorities, develops timelines and project tracking forms, identifies success measures and meets deadlines. Conceptualized creative and innovative ideas for Special Fund Raising Events and Special Events. Translates ideas into workable plans. Develops concepts for events and makes proposals. Collaborate with staff, key volunteers and agency representatives to develop their ideas into viable special events. Responsible for directing projects such as Days of Caring and the Speakers Bureau and managing full-time staff members as related to these areas. Engage in contact with a wide variety of key volunteers and community organizations requiring a thorough knowledge of interpersonal communication techniques. Manage volunteer training and or orientation. Managed special events communications in relation to press releases, media advisors and Web site copy that promotes events.
