Preventive maintenance master data from Dynamics was imported directly from Dynamics tables and transformed to fit the SAP Preventive Maintenance data model.

Functional locations were collected in data collection templates and additional data was loaded such as object links and alternative labelling. Also migrated MRM (MacArthur River Mining) and Mount Isa Mining data in Australia. In the case of MRM, a migration was done from Ellipse to S/4 and this migration covered Functional locations, Equipment,Work centers, Revisions, Equipment BOM's, Material BOM's, Task lists, Maintenance Plans and DMS Documents and links. For Mount Isa Mining data cleansing and validation was done on more than 20 000 equipment. Masterkey was used to stage master data and ensure that data integrity was kept intact. MRM has also requested additional data loads after go-live for a new fleet.

In both case the legacy system in use was Maximo. Oil Sands enriched and cleaned their data using a combination of Masterkey Visualization and periodic updates from Excel. For Conventional Drilling, data corrections were applied at source and a complete dataset was extracted from Maximo using Powerbuilder. A notable development was the ability for users to generate Masterkey Server Excel load files as needed. These load files were generated directly from the staging database (Masterkey). The project in December 2022 and the migration strategy proved to be very effective en meeting the rigorous data demands of a company in excess or 350 000 equipment records.
