Dec. 2008 - Jan. 2010Greater Detroit AreaFounded this all-vegan, specialty meal service which featured organic produce grown by Detroit farmers, fully sustainable packaging, and responsible business practices, in Detroit’s historic Cass Corridor. Created all written and visual content, branding, and marketing for our online and collateral material, ultimately growing our membership base into the hundreds and routinely selling out our tickets each week. Built and maintained a broad online presence and helped coordinate all aspects of day-to-day business including menu creation, packaging design, marketing, and finance. Developed a curriculum on the relationship between diet and environmentalism for several classes of students at Detroit Middle School, which was subsequently used for lecture material from 2012 to 2014. Detroit Brunch has been featured in publications including Detroit’s Metro Times, lifestyle magazine Hour Detroit, and VegNews magazine.
