Sep. 2022 - Feb. 2023ColombiaAs an advertising trainee, I was in charge of helping FILMZ to analyze, collect, and interpret market data to shape their marketing strategy, find market opportunities, and improve their filmmaking services based on a defined USP. As a video editor assistant, I was responsible for transferring files from recording days into the company´s computers (video and audio). Also, I was in charge of analyzing the final cuts from different episodes, of the TV series "Guía para Nuevos Padres", correcting minor issues, and exporting and delivering the required assets that the TV channel requested. In addition, I received daily training in the usage of DaVinci Resolve Studio software focused on video editing. I also received daily training focused on Color Grading, a knowledge that I got to apply to do a look proposition for the musical video clip "CCM Music - Yo Viviré". Lastly, as a lighting and camera assistant, I received constant training to help the camera team set up cameras, lens choices, tripods, light stands, lights (setting color temperature and strength), and calibrating gimbals. I was able to receive training in camera movement angles, gimbal operation, and lighting techniques during set recordings. Finally, I also received training to understand the Director´s Assistant's work by learning to write, create and follow technical and literary scripts. All the previous knowledge, from the preproduction to the post-production phase, was applied to a final project where I was responsible for writing the technical and literary scripts; doing the art and style choices, selecting the desired shots, angles, and camera movements; setting up all lighting, sound, and camera equipment to finally do the complete editing process from cuts, sound eq, vfx, and color grading to rendering. Software: Davinci Resolve, Notion, Miro.
