Oct. 2007 - Aug. 2012Sales Support + Sales Responsibility In addition to techincal manager position: •Responsible for day to day sales activities including customer liaison, quoting, stocking and dispatch for Japan, Korea, India, Australia and Bangladesh. •Identifying and securing new business opportunities. •Assistance in the implementing of strategies & business plan to increase market share, customer bases, higher profit margin and meeting company’s sales targets and objectives. •Managing and directing the activities of distributors/dealers/representative offices and assisting them to meet their annual sales target •Ascertain customers and distributors/dealers/representative office future requirements to ensure accurate planning of sales strategies and resources allocation. •Collecting and analyzing of competitors’ information ie pricing, product etc. •Prepares and updates records of potential customers. •Maintain sales records and reference lists. •Prepares and conduct sales correspondence and reports. •Coordinate the activities of the Area Sales Managers and the Project Office (preparing technical scopes of supply, stocking and dispatch) •Discussion with Corporate about discounts •Work with Area Sales Mangers to develop special project pricing from Corporate for significant engine projects •Ensure the Project Office updates the price list as required •Regularly review the scope of engines ordered to ensure they meet with market requirements at a minimal price •Cooperate with the After Sales and Service Managers in Asia Pacific •Prepare weekly forecasts of monthly sales for Engines •Ensure the Project Office orders engines to satisfy expected demand •Ensure the Project Office orders enough engine components to ensure prompt delivery of completed engines •Travel in the region to assist in Area Sales Managers as required • Answer Corporate related enquiries and compile the monthly sales reports as requested
