As Assistant Administrator I supervised over 70 individuals; 30 administrative, 25 customs officials and 15 customs inspectors; direct supervision of 7 managers from different departments (operations, legal, IT, officers, inspectors, accounting and brokers) This position is the second in charge of Toluca port of entry, reporting directly to the Chief Administrator. Within my responsibilities I overviewed the complete customs operations (import and export), more than 250 customs clearance daily, maintained good working relation with customs brokers assigned to the Toluca port of entry and generally supervised that importers, exporters, officials and brokers provided proper compliance with rules, regulations and procedures for customs clearance purposes.
