Feb. 2018 - Jan. 2019Istanbul, Turkey- The position entails developing, fostering, and maintaining relationships with proactive stakeholders and partners such as governmental and non- governmental institutions, associations, organizations, studies institutes and centers in Turkey and abroad. - I took charge of promoting the Fiker Center's image within formal and scientific circles and among prominent media outlets and news channels, such as TRT, Aljazeera, and Anadolu Agency. This involved positioning the center's work, securing media coverage, and enhancing visibility through press releases and interviews like the participations of our researchers in programs regarding issues in the MENA. - I successfully established and nurtured productive relations with governmental bodies, non-governmental organizations, think tanks, research centers, and international organizations. This included the initiation and negotiation of Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with several key stakeholders, like ORSAM, IRAM, TASAM, ORDAF and Fatih Sultan Mehmet University, facilitating collaboration in research, knowledge exchange, and joint scientific activities. -I played a pivotal role in the development and execution of joint research projects and scientific activities in partnership with these institutions, enhancing the center's reputation in the MENA region. - I achieved an accomplishment in having the Center’s name in the Global Go To Think Tank Index, which is conducted by the Think Tank and Civil Societies Program that belong to University of Pennsylvania, and organized a symposium in cooperation with the Pennsylvania Index Program to measure the most influential centers around the world in 2019. - I spearheaded the "Salon" initiative, designed to engage young researchers and interested students in producing scientific short articles and briefings on diverse political, economic, and social issues related to the MENA region. I ensured the highest quality of content and promoted emerging voices in the field.
