Dr. Awmnia Samir Eassa Ahmed is an Assistant Professor of English in the First Year Department at Mohammad Al Mana College for Medical Sciences, Saudi Arabia. She holds a Ph.D. in English from Ahfad University for Women, where her research focused on the impact of modern teaching techniques on developing university students’ language skills and critical thinking. She has extensive experience teaching English language courses, ESP, research skills, applied linguistics, and academic writing in higher education. Dr. Awmnia actively contributes to academic leadership and quality assurance, currently serving as Chair of the Central Research Committee and as a member of several institutional committees, including curriculum, assessment, examination, strategic planning, and accreditation committees. Her research interests include EFL pedagogy, ESP, educational technology, AI in language learning, and learner-centered approaches. She has published in peer-reviewed international journals and is engaged in ongoing research projects addressing contemporary issues in language education. Dr. Awmnia is also committed to professional development, community engagement, and the continuous enhancement of teaching and learning practices.
