I’m a survivor, a CEO, and a systems-changer. I don’t believe in ticking boxes; I believe in asking better questions. For over a decade, I’ve led My CWA with a clear mission: to do domestic abuse support differently. We’ve built a culture where survivors don’t just share their stories, they shape our services. Participation isn’t a bolt-on. It’s built in. Our work is grounded in creativity, honesty, and a refusal to accept the status quo. We reduce risk, design bespoke interventions, and hold perpetrators to account while making space for women and children to recover. That approach led to the Engage Model, a whole-family, whole-system response to domestic abuse that targets those who cause harm and supports the whole household. It’s honest about complexity and clear about accountability. Alongside our team, we’ve helped survivors directly influence strategy and policy. Not just locally, but nationally. Because the people most affected by abuse should be the ones shaping how we respond to it. I founded Domestic Abuse Experts to take this work further. Shift the conversation across systems, services, and sectors. To speak plainly about what’s not working. And to help build what does. I can help make your business a safer place to work.
