Aug. 2022Cairo, Egypt• Support Egypt's workplan and espcially "Health systems Unit" in Egypt CO through implmenting multiple types of contracts "GES, APW, TRs, TCs, Consultants, DIs, RFPs, N\LOAs". • Establish and maintain partnerships between the organization and key stakeholders; negotiate contractual agreements to ensure optimal service delivery and value for money, in alignment with WHO's external engagement strategy. • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the assigned program; draft, review, and revise official correspondence, reports, and documents for accuracy and formatting. Independently compose administrative correspondence, take meeting notes, and provide informal interpretation or translation when required. • Utilize the Global Management System (GSM) to monitor the implementation of country activities, project and program budgets, and financial expenditures, ensuring alignment with approved work plans. Initiate and manage transactions in GSM, including procurement of goods and services, and follow up on the receipt of deliverables and completion of payments. • Compile background materials for planning, monitoring, and evaluation activities, including mini-reviews; maintain and organize both digital and physical filing systems for technical documents and correspondence. • Serve as the primary liaison between WHO (Country, Regional, and HQ levels) and Egyptian government institutions, facilitating the organization of regional and global meetings and conferences involving both parties. • Support the development of Procurement Plans for projects and ensure timely processing of payments for all expenditures in line with the WHE plan and the Sudan crisis response. • Oversee the implementation of Audit (CRM) recommendations concerning project management and procurement activities, ensuring compliance at all levels. • Prepare, review, and submit budgets related to different modalites,; monitor open purchase orders and resolution of pending encumbrances.
