Brenda is an Arizona native with nearly 30 years of experience as an administrator, bookkeeper, and office manager. Her sharp eye for detail and passion for customer service have fueled her success across industries; from banking and business ownership to nonprofit leadership and custom home construction. A rare blend of creativity and structure, Brenda brings both artistry and order to every project, skills she honed as an award-winning theatrical designer and now applies in residential building and community work. Brenda holds an M.S. in Psychology, Positive Psychology and a B.A. in Psychology, both from Arizona State University. She specializes in Post-Traumatic Growth (PTG), Resilience, Emotional Intelligence, and Neurodiversity-informed well-being. Her work centers on fostering healing, hope, and sustainable wellness, particularly for individuals and systems affected by trauma, chronic stress, or marginalization. Brenda is especially committed to advancing mental health and suicide prevention efforts within the construction industry, where she integrates evidence-based practices in well-being, emotional regulation, and psychological safety into workplace culture and administrative operations. Brenda is an Ordained Minister through ULC, and she also serves as a Music Minister on staff at United Church of Sun City, part of the open and affirming United Church of Christ, where she blends her passion for spirituality and emotional healing through music and the occasional sermon.
