Pagayao at the Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) Parliament, a transition government established after the decades-long peace process in Southern Philippines. I support legislative work and policy development to promote inclusive and responsive governance, particularly involved in the finalization of the Bangsamoro Labor and Employment Code as well as the crafting of legislative measures for the environment, such as the proposed Integrated Bangsamoro Greening Program Act, which links environmental protection to peacebuilding efforts in the post-conflict region such as BARMM, Philippines.

In this role, I collaborate closely with the Bangsamoro Parliament and regional political parties in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), Philippines, to promote greater democracy and inclusivity. Our efforts support the political aspect of the peace process as the Bangsamoro region transitions from a conflict-ridden area to a fully democratic and inclusive society. We assist former combatants in transforming their weapons into votes, partnering with them as they engage in the region's democratic transformation.
