Other than the tasks I did as an intern I was able to get more involved in the production department. My responsibilities were: - Logging in materials into our production software (IMPLUS). - Controlling of order sheets. - Checking up on manufacturers, helping them meet deadlines. - Ordering of materials. - Organizing delivery of materials to manufacturers. - Preparing production samples for review. - Communicating alterations to manufacturers. - Ensuring delivery dates, for both the design and production team - making of fabric book, for sales purposes. - Organizing product photos with photographers and the design team.

I translated their design ideas into technical sheets and ordered prototypes, eventually communicating the approval of garments. Overview of my tasks: - Order fabric swatches. - Make fabric boards. - Assist in research. - Order prototypes. - Present prototypes to the creative director/ designer. - Communicate changes to create the salesman sample. - Organize product photos with the design team and photographer. - Assist lookbook shootings.

I supported the designer when introducing the brand into social media and played an important role in the making/ development of the website. I was able to help renew the brand's image, by giving a modern approach to the ideals of the designer. I also had the opportunity to represent the brand while visiting Premier Vision in Paris. During my time there I also had close contact with customers and suppliers, which helped me develop further my communication skills.
