Key Responsibilities & Achievements: Plan, teach, and assess Mathematics, Literacy, and Inquiry lessons, fostering critical thinking and creativity through hands-on, real-world learning experiences. Plan and teach Destination Reader sessions and phonics, building comprehension, fluency, and foundational literacy across KS1. Collaborate within a team of educators to plan, differentiate, and reflect on best practices that meet the diverse needs of multilingual and mixed-ability learners. Design and maintain purposeful learning areas that promote independence, collaboration, and creativity. Integrate technology, visual arts, and STEAM-based learning (including LEGO robotics and digital storytelling) to enhance engagement and authentic learning connections. Serve as House Captain of Anand, leading inter-house events and fostering school spirit, teamwork, and community engagement. Active member of the Social Committee for three years, organising Christmas events, leavers’ lunches, and small gatherings for colleagues and staff to connect and socialise. Facilitate co-curricular activities: Lead Art Club to inspire creativity and fine motor skills, and SE21 to develop STEAM, digital literacy, teamwork, and problem-solving through LEGO, Minecraft, and gaming. Engage in parent communication and partnership, supporting families in understanding learning goals, celebrating achievements, and fostering a strong home-school connection. Participate in whole-school initiatives such as Digital Citizenship Week, Book Week, and the STEAM Fair, celebrating student learning and collaboration. Mentor early career teachers and promote a reflective, innovative teaching culture, integrating new strategies and best practices to enhance student learning.
