KPI’s: Provide state of the art engineering and maintenance best practices / solutions to enable optimum and safe production for the operations. Provide engineering services that include mechanical, electrical, industrial control engineering (ICE), technical IM and maintenance services that include condition monitoring / rotating equipment, as well as, coded welding. Establish and implement maintenance, plant services and asset management strategies, in line with long term business plans. Management of SHE standards Identify risks and design mitigating strategies and plans to ensure sustainable, standardised engineer-ing / maintenance practices. Project Management. Quality Control. Continuous improvement optimisation. Management of costs, budgets and planned maintenance shutdowns. Asset Review Lead and Divestiture Assurance (part-time).

Achievements: I developed a blueprint structure and framework for the entire operations, which further streamlined the structure and optimised business processes that achieved a 12-15% FTE saving on cash fixed cost. Championed the reorganisation within a 6 month period to allow for structural optimisation. Managed and steered the manufacturing facility to achieve volume commitments and maximise gross margin through optimal carbon selection. Successfully executed two annual turnarounds within set timeframes. KPI’s: Accountable for the budgeting planning, scheduling, optimisation and integration of Sasol’s main feedstock and petrochemical manufacturing supply chain in Southern Africa, including product quality and inventory management. Achieved business continuity post Day 1 through successful stakeholder management and negotiations. KPI’s: Managed multiple streams across the landscape of a business (HR, IT, Operations, Finance etc.). Planned the overall process for physical separation by set date. Appointed and managed appropriate stream leads to investigate requirements for carve out of each process. Coordinated and guided carve out investigation teams to the consider risks and consequences of separation. Collaborated with buyer carve-out teams to ensure plans for handover and transition were understood and aligned. Contracts administration with buyer to ensure terms were appropriately catered for in post-deal plans. Defined transition services and assisted legal and transaction teams to finalise transition agreements. Defined ongoing services scope and influence Sasol structure to cater for this.
